This Is Not a Government Office or Records Custodian. Raleigh People Search is privately operated. We cannot retrieve records, issue certified copies, verify a residence, or delete information from an agency database. Contact the office that created or holds the record for those services. Call 911 for an emergency. If stalking or harassment is involved, contact local law enforcement.
Where to Request Raleigh Records
Use the custodian tied to the record. Raleigh city departments, Wake County offices, and North Carolina agencies do not share one request desk.
- Deeds, liens, plats, and Wake certificates: Wake County Register of Deeds, covered under Raleigh public records
- Filed trial-court cases: Wake County Clerk of Superior Court, with the name-search route under Raleigh court records
- Birth, death, marriage, and divorce certificates: Wake Register of Deeds or N.C. Vital Records, depending on the event and copy needed
- Voter lookup and public voter files: NCSBE and Wake Board of Elections, described under Raleigh voter records
- Staff, campus, owner, professional, and historic listings: the custodians in Raleigh people directories
- City-created records not online: use Raleigh's Public Records Portal and identify the department, record type, date range, address, or case number
